Small Business Owners... How Do You Protect What You've Built?

Updated: Jun 19, 2021

Small business owners are a different breed. They’re independent, hardworking, creative, resilient, and even a bit stubborn (in a good way 😃). I should know because I’ve been one for almost 20 years, and I’ve “run in the same circles” with them for even longer. Unfortunately, small business owners are also often so busy that they fail to ask, and answer, some very important questions. What happens to my business if I die or become incapacitated even for a short time? Who will run the business, sign payroll checks, etc.? Will my business “tank” while my spouse and employees wait for the courts to act? Will my spouse and family receive a fair share of the business from my partner? If you’re a small business owner, you can easily and quickly answer and resolve these questions with proper planning. Think about it... you’ve worked so hard and so long, sacrificed for so many years building your business; after all that, don’t risk losing what you've built by not taking responsible steps to protect it. If I can help you protect what you’ve worked so hard to build, contact me at (813) 244-7758 or Ross@RossSpanoLaw.com. Cheers! Ross Spano
